View From The Monument & Hunterian Museum

We visited The Fire Of London Monument at the weekend and having been to the top of The Shard at Christmas time I actually preferred the views from the Monument. While the views from The Shard are stunning, you are so high up everything seems tiny in comparison whereas from the top of The Monument all the buildings feel closer. Once you climb the 317 narrow winding steps of course. Entry to The Monument is £4.00.

Afterwards we visited the interesting Hunterian Museum where you can see all kinds of delights from the skeleton of a giant to a deformed piglet fetus (free entry, closest tube Temple or Holborn)
